Drum Lessons with Pistol Crockett
So, in my quest of not being complacent and learning more and more, I have always wanted to take drum lessons. Not to be a drummer necessarily, but I wanted to learn how to communicate better to a drummer that I’m working with.
I had also heard that a friend of mine, Mr. LA Drummer himself, was looking to learn how to play guitar too. So, now we’re giving each other lessons, 30 minutes on drums for me and 30 minutes on guitar for him.
We actually started last week on a session with a friend of his. But today was our first actual lessons. Paradiddles, independence, and syncopation. But basic stuff mostly.
Hope we both learn a lot and have a great time as well. I’m already having fun.
